Occupying 540 acres along a mile of Lake Erie shoreline, Erie Bluffs State Park is a quieter, less-visited park that is perfect for a quiet exploration of nature. There are no good beaches and no facilities, but the 90-foot-high bluffs and dense old growth forest are spectacular sights and the undeveloped nature of the park keeps it flush with wildlife. The park sits right on the shore of the lake west of Lake City, about 12 miles west of Erie.
